Wella Roxas: Looking in the mirror

          Hello, I'm is Manuela Stewart Roxas and people can usually call me by my nickname "Wella".

        Everyone can describe me as a companionable person. I'm actually comfortable with anyone as long as they're not snobbish. I like talking to anyone because I don't want them to have an impression of me as a shy person because actually, I'm not. I want people to be more comfortable around me because I want them to tell stories about themselves too. I'm open to any kind people because I like discovering different personalities of each person I talk to.

         I really like to watch anime and read manga. The first time I came across anime, it was introduced to me by my friend when I was in grade 3 and up until now, I'm still watching some. I like anime because "Anime" is, as the word implies, animation. Ever since I was little, I have always preferred drawings to photos. Another reason is the story itself that I have always enjoyed cartoons because they have exceeded the suspension of disbelief. Naturally, there are still instances of this not working at all, but merely the fact that it is not reality allows for some more imaginative stories that otherwise could not be created. And in manga, I just started reading last year and the first series that I finished was Ao Haru Ride. I like reading manga because you get some pretty visuals. Though this is more of a preference thing, but it always surprises me that a mangaka can take the general aesthetics of the manga art style and add their own flare into it. And sometimes, the mangaka can make the normally cutesy art and turn it into something brilliant.

         Lastly, I always believe in this quote "Hard work betrays none, but dreams betray many." Working hard alone doesn't assure you that you'll achieve your dreams. However there are more cases where you don't. Even so, I believe that working hard and achieving something is some consolation at least.

         Basically, there are a lot of things about me so I can't really put it all here so these are some things related to me.
